Days o: Arrival in Arusha

4 DAYS TANZANIA LODGE SAFARI: On this day our safari manager will meet you at your Hotel/Lodge in Arusha for detailed safari briefing. Please let us know if you will need the package price to include your transfers & accommodation in Arusha before & after safari.
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

4 DAYS TANZANIA LODGE SAFARI: After breakfast at your hotel/lodge in Arusha, meet our safari manager & your driver guide for a briefing before departing for Tarangire National Park via Arusha town for last-minute purchases. The drive traverses Masai steppe & villages to Tarangire gate. Tarangire, the fifth largest National park in Tanzania, lies at the base of the Great East African Rift Valley. Adorned with acacia woodlands and baobab trees, it's intersected by Tarangire River & boasts a sanctuary swamp during the dry season. Encounter elephants, rare species like the Great Kudu & Fringed Eared Oryx, alongside buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, hippos, and more. Predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah, jackals & hyenas also inhabit. Birdwatchers will enjoy 400+ bird species. Later, drive to Marera Valley Lodge via the Great East African Rift Valley for a sunset spectacle, dinner & overnight stay. Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

4 DAYS TANZANIA LODGE SAFARI: After breakfast, embark on a journey to Serengeti National Park, passing through the picturesque farmland of Karatu up to Ngorongoro gate for check-in. Pause at the Crater viewpoint for breathtaking views before descending through the Malanja depression to Serengeti's plains. Along the way, immerse yourself in the Masai culture with a visit to a local village. Masai warriors will share their way of life, showcasing their homes, and performing traditional songs and dances. Continue to Serengeti, known for its vast plains and diverse wildlife. Register at Naabi Hills gate and enjoy a packed lunch at Kopjes before an afternoon game drive, seeking out big cats and the Great Wildebeest Migration. As the day draws to a close, head to your camp in central Serengeti for dinner and overnight stay. Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

4 DAYS TANZANIA LODGE SAFARI: Start your day at 06:30 with packed breakfast and lunch for an early Serengeti game drive. Look for cat families and nocturnal predators. Break for bush breakfast, then head to where the Wildebeest Migration is. Spend time with the herds, if they're in Central Serengeti. Otherwise, enjoy the park's beauty. In the afternoon, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a game drive en-route. Arrive at Rhino Lodge for sunset, dinner, and overnight stay. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge or a similar accommodation in Karatu town."
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

4 DAYS TANZANIA LODGE SAFARI: User Following breakfast, set out towards Serengeti National Park, traversing the scenic farmland of Karatu and proceeding to Ngorongoro gate for check-in. Take a moment at the Crater viewpoint to capture stunning images before descending through the Malanja depression to the expansive plains of Serengeti. En route, delve into the rich culture of the Masai with a visit to a local village. Masai warriors will graciously offer insights into their daily lives, showcasing their traditional dwellings and performing vibrant songs and dances. Continuing onward, arrive at Serengeti, renowned for its vast savannahs and diverse wildlife. Complete registration at Naabi Hills gate and enjoy a packed lunch amidst the rocky outcroppings known as Kopjes. Then, embark on an afternoon game drive, eagerly seeking out majestic big cats and witnessing the awe-inspiring Great Wildebeest Migration. As daylight fades, journey to your camp in central Serengeti, where a hearty dinner awaits, followed by a peaceful overnight stay beneath the African skies.
