Mount Kilimanjaro, crowned by the famed Uhuru Peak, offers adventurers seven distinct paths to its summit. While one of these trails starts from the mountain’s northern face, the rest wind up from the southern side. These routes, each with its own unique charm, are named Marangu, Machame, Lemosho, Shira, Rongai, Northern Circuit, and Umbwe.
Typically, climbers take between five to nine days to reach the top, followed by a descent to the base camp. An interesting tidbit: the more time you spend acclimatizing on the mountain, the better your odds of standing tall on the summit.
