Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

• Description: Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a relaxing evening in the leafy suburbs of Entebbe, where you can unwind and prepare for the safari ahead.

Day 2: Transfer to Northern Queen Elizabeth National Park

• Accommodation: Mweya Safari Lodge (Alternate: Buffalo Safari Lodge)
• Description: Start the day with an early breakfast before transferring to Entebbe Airport for your flight to Kasese Airstrip. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park. After lunch, embark on an evening game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, where you will have the chance to spot elephants, buffalos, lions, and a variety of bird species.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge & Boat Safari

• Accommodation: Mweya Safari Lodge (Alternate: Buffalo Safari Lodge)
• Description: After breakfast, head to Kyambura Gorge, often called the “Valley of the Apes,” for a chimpanzee trekking adventure. Later, return to your lodge for lunch before enjoying an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll observe hippos, crocodiles, and an array of birdlife.

Day 4: Game Drive in Ishasha & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

• Accommodation: Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp (Alternate: Mahogany Springs Lodge)
• Description: Begin your day with a game drive in the Ishasha sector, known for its tree-climbing lions. Afterward, continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Check in at your lodge and enjoy dinner in the serene forest surroundings.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

• Accommodation: Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp (Alternate: Mahogany Springs Lodge)
• Description: Today is the highlight of your safari—gorilla trekking in Bwindi. After a hearty breakfast, you’ll be briefed at the park headquarters before setting out on your trek. The experience of observing gorillas in their natural habitat is both humbling and unforgettable. After your trek, return to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 6: Batwa Cultural Experience & Departure

• Description: After breakfast, visit the Batwa Cultural Village to learn about the traditions of the Batwa people, one of the oldest indigenous tribes in Africa. After lunch, transfer to Kihihi Airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe, where you will connect to your onward flight, concluding your incredible Ugandan safari adventure.
