Experience five of Tanzania’s renowned wildlife reserves on a safari that provides the opportunity to see a wide variety of animals and birds, capture hundreds of breathtaking images, and discover the constantly shifting landscapes of Africa’s most well-known safari destination. There are breathtaking views, the world’s largest uninterrupted volcanic caldera, enormous soda lakes, and vast grassland plains all of which are home to numerous wildlife species. To ensure you have the safari of your dreams, adjust the itinerary to suit your needs and/or the accommodations and comfort level of the safari.
After breakfast, you'll leave Moshi and drive the three to four hours to Lake Manyara National Park. You will have plenty of time to explore the park and its wildlife after check-in because you will go on an afternoon game drive and then another one in the evening. You can expect to see some of Africa's big animals as well as flamingos, which like to hang out in the park's waterways. You'll return to camp later for dinner. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast, depart the lodge with a picnic lunch in tow and travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the renowned Serengeti National Park. As you travel to your camp in the Seronera region, which is located in the center of the park, you will enjoy a game drive en route. After a day of game viewing and game driving, you can anticipate a delectable dinner and a relaxing night's sleep. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner
Spend a full day exploring the beautiful Serengeti. Its wide, open plains are home to the most zebras and wildebeests of any place on Earth. Search the park's various areas for the big cats as they hunt for prey. You will return to your camp for the evening and another night under the stars after a day of game viewing. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner
Before breakfast, go on a sunrise game drive for the chance to see the first sunbeams illuminate the vast grassland plains and perhaps even spot some nocturnal animals making their way home from a night of hunting. As you depart the park and make your way to your lodge that has a view of the Ngorongoro Crater, you will first head back to camp for breakfast. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast, you will make your way down the 600-meter-high crater walls into the wildlife-rich crater. Explore the reserve to see any animals you have yet to see, as it has the highest concentration of mammals in Tanzania and hundreds of different bird species. Before you climb the steep ascent back to your lodge for the evening, take a picnic lunch in the crater. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner
One of the eight craters in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the Empakai Crater, will be the destination of your today's early-morning walking tour. After spending days in the car, the walking tour gives you the chance to get some exercise and provides a different viewpoint for viewing the wildlife. Immerse yourself in the wilderness as you explore the area nearby, taking in the diverse birdlife and breathtaking views. You'll later return to your lodge for dinner and a well-earned rest. You'll leave for Tarangire National Park after breakfast. The quick drive to the park gives you plenty of time to explore this lovely park, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions. The large pythons and many Baobab trees that dot the landscape are also strange things to see. You will return to your lodge for the evening for dinner after a long day of exploring. After breakfast, you'll check out of the hotel and make the short trip to Arusha National Park for one last day of game drives in one of Tanzania's stunning parks. Before you leave for Moshi, the last stop on your trip, enjoy the slow pace of the day and the last of the African wilderness. Look for any animals that are still there, like some beautiful primates.
